At Von Eintze Shepherds, we are
very particular in placing our puppies. We understand that not everyone is
suited for a German Shepherd, and that there are misconceptions about puppies
and the breed. After a careful screening process, our puppies are placed in
homes of very special people. When the pups are seven (7) weeks old we do a
temperament test. The result is a puppy evaluation that reliably measures
individual temperament , as well as obedience and working potential. We will
discuss the results with you. We want you to be comfortable with your purchase
and your puppy. You will know exactly what you are paying for. Buying a puppy
should be a happy time from someone you are comfortable with, not filled with
stress, frustration, and worry.
All puppies are guaranteed on
hips and health. Puppy packs include complete pedigree and pictures on both Sire
and Dam, Registration papers, complete health record, helpful tips and
information on how to feed and take care of your new pup. We supply life long
breeder support, if and when needed.
Please note: German Shepherd Dogs are prone to Hip Dysplasia and precautions
need to be taken in raising them. We do what we can by breeding dogs with good
hips and with genetic histories of good hips, beyond that, it is the owners
responsibility to do all they can to prevent bad hips in their dog.
Here are some tips:
Do not jog with your
pup, this is very hard on young soft bones. Instead, play with your pup and take
short walks more frequently.
Keep your puppy
thin, you should be able to feel his ribs, but they should not be protruding.
The more weight your pup carries the harder it is on his developing bones.
We highly recommend
feeding the Raw Food Diet we feed our dogs.
Swimming is an
excellent exercise for dogs.
**Please note: I have a full time job and
busy work schedule as well as managing my dogs, caring for puppies etc. My
family 2 legged and 4 legged take first priority. So...please be patient when
